DT Finds From Our Trip To OK

(More Pictures Below)

Our first DT stop was the morning after staying the night at one of the worst hotels I have experienced. They didn't have toothpaste or toothbrushes so we Definitely needed those. We had planned on buying deodorant, because we didn't expect them to have any (though most do). The hotel didn't have shampoo or conditioner for us all either. I'll get in to more about that awful stay in another post. THIS is about DT :) I needed a better pen to right in our trip journal, so I got a Fluffy Pink pen, which if you follow me on Instagram or SnapChat(ReadySetMom) you have probably already seen! It looked silly but I LOVE writing with it. It makes me feel pretty too. We Got M a Lisa Frank Pen too. I think she's gonna love it! Had to grab some tape, because its one of the best places to buy it. Taping things in the journal as we go is SO much easier than doing it all later! We bought some Applesnax applesauce cups. After that last stay I wanted to make sure we had something to eat with us. I feel like their aloe lip balm works pretty well so I picked up the 2 pack of those. They had the Salon Selectives 3 minute hair therapy, so I finally got to pick up some of that ( I can hardly wait to try it!). As we were leaving I decided I needed some sunglasses to help us through the trip too. So I had to make another purchase for those. When I did, C decided the kids needed dry erase boards for the trip too. They have little characters in the corners and come come a string attached so they can be hung up. They each came with a pen that had an eraser on the cap, which was handy, but Madison's stopped working before we got home. We also got a smiley face hacky sack for the boy. (I think it was at that one). Overall, it was a pretty big haul.

The next one was after our trip to the aquarium. It was an alright store. Not too special but we found a few good things. We got the stacked Physicians Formula nail polishes everyone had been hauling in Bare it All, a glass shaped like a Coke can, the Scotch double sided tape (which I love), and a pen shaped like a blue dog for C.

We made two other DT stops during our trip. These two were more interesting. The first was Giant! This was the biggest Dollar Tree I had ever seen! Now, the products didn't vary that much from the other stores, they were just spread out more, but, man it was huge! I did pick up another fluffy pen (in case I don't find them when I get home. What can I say, I really enjoy them!). This one was in hot pink. I saw some cute Monkey wall art that I thought might be fun for one of the kids' walls, a bag of Blow Pops (The suckers we got from a candy purchase at the mall  were a big Fail and they wanted something Yummy), dry erase markers in cute springy colors, some Denali Original Moose Tracks snack mix (I knew this trip was going to require more sweets), and a drawer organizer in black.

The last store was kind of a sad way to end my DT experiences for the trip. It was lacking in products, wasn't that clean and wasn't that welcoming. I still bought a splatter screen for when I am cooking (I had been thinking about trying it out). I thought I bought one other item but I can't remember what it was.

My favorite DT find from the trip is, by far, my pink fluffy pen! But I have to say, when we got deodorant I chose the Teen Spirit in Pink Crush, and it smells so good. It has like a sweet scent to it. It seems like a younger scent, but I really enjoy it. At this point the kids haven't gotten all of the items that are for them, but so far it looks like their favorites are the dry erase boards.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what we found on our trip to Oklahoma! If I missed posting a picture of something we got and you would like to see it, please let me know in the comments below and I will see what I can do!

Here are some extra pics I took just for YOU!

Product Review: Global Beauty Care Wipes and So Natural Banana Slices

(Both of these were purchased at the Dollar Tree)

Well, my face was kind of burning a few minutes after I used the wipes. That might just be because I was kind of breaking out though. I don't know. I liked that the wipes were pre-moistened. Others I have gotten at the Dollar Tree said they were and well...they weren't. Now they weren't as moist as one's I have used from other stores, BUT they were still damp and worked alright. I did wet the wipe a little more after trying straight out of the package. Then, it seemed to work a little better. Overall, so far, not too bad. I want to try it with some other makeup though.

The only ingredient listed on the package of banana slices was BANANAS, and on the front of the package it actually says they are freeze dried. They were kinda gross to me. My son however loved them, which was kind of weird because he hasn't been liking bananas lately. My daughter tried them at the same time, and she has been liking bananas lately. Her face went "eww" while his face went "yum". He pretty much ate the whole bag himself, Not All At Once, Lol! I found them too be too sweet for me. Being that the only ingredient listed on the package is bananas. I say for a dollar it's worth a try. Now, we have bananas the boy will eat!

As always, comments welcome! Let me know what you think below.

New DT Finds

This is my first post with some newer equipment, so there will be pictures!
I made a quick trip to DT and noticed a few new (at least new to me) items. I picked up some disposable coffee cups with lids, which I had used before and 2 sticker books for the little ones. I also got coffee stirrers and an air pump which I had started seeing probably a couple of weeks ago at most. I didn't pick up any of the new items I found,  but I took pictures in case any of you might want to see them.
Also there were these wipes I came across that I've been wondering about for a while.  They are in a purple package.  I was wondering how they compare to the Good & Clean ones in the yellow and teal packaging. If you've tried them,  please let me know!

Pics Below :)

These are the canvas pencil bags. There were 4 different designs.

I saw these cute snack cups I had to snap a picture of too : )

These are the wipes i was wondering about. What do you guys think? How do they compare to the Good & Clean ones DT sells? Should I buy them and try them out??

I noticed these little bags of cookies. I think they're knew. Online I saw them for close to $3 a bag. I'm still looking for  good scanner app to use to compare in the store though.

Thanks for reading! Share your thoughts below, please!
