Changes Every Day

Maybe you have seen the tabs across the top. Did you try to click them? Yeah, sorry they went to a blank page. Lol, I'm working on it. Sadly I can't really have a different page for each category like I wanted. What I can do is post them all on here with a label, and set it up so when you click the link it searches for things with that label. It wont be as snazzy as I wanted, but it will work for now.

I want to add a little to each page so I can get them set up. I know there will be more adjusting for the next little while. Thanks for sticking around through this start-up period!!!

We are about to be in the middle of a move, but I still plan to try and add something each day to get this thing looking and running better and better! I was thinking about posting some simple science experiments or fun crafts we did with the kids. One of those should be the next post (maybe tomorrow). Stay tuned!

I'm sick :( The funny stuff will come soon!

Sorry guys! I have been sick. :( My kids have been saying some funny things, doing funny things, there has been so much shareable stuff! I just feel yucky. Soon though! I mean we all have hilarious kids. It just has to be in the right moment. I'll share some soon. In the mean time you can check out my older posts! They aren't as funny, more about just getting through the day. Maybe you can relate, whether its day to day mommy struggles, or crying over the loss of a loved one missing the memories being made.

The posts are below, or there are links to them on the right.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to like on Facebook and follow on Twitter!

I told my daughter to say, "It's mine and you can't touch it!"

Recently after school, my daughter told me a kid tried to spit in her face.  More specifically, he grabbed her face and tried to spit in it.  I should inform you they are around 4 years old, give or take.  So, I do understand that some kids do these things.  No, I do not think its ok.  I'm just saying I understand that things happen.  But, I asked her what she did, and I let her know she should have gotten his hands off of her and told him not to touch her.  Again she said, "No, we are supposed to say please stop."  I told her that is a good thing to do, but its ok to get his hands off of her and tell him to stop.

I want her to be kind, of course, but not so kind as to not stand up for herself.  Now, I don't worry about my daughter too much because she is pretty good about handling herself.  But, as much as our kids are being taught not to bully each other and (apparently) not to even talk to each other in a stern manner, they  need to know to stand up for themselves!  I did tell my daughter if someone is touching her, and she doesn't want them to, its OK to get their hands OFF of her and tell them its her face/hand/belly/whatever it is and they CAN'T touch it.

Of course there was more to our conversation, but that was the long story relatively short, lol!

** I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Leave a comment below! **

If you made it this far leave an * in the comments so I know people are actually reading it lol!  They look like snow flakes and its so cold out!

Mom Up!

The names for this page and this post can be taken however you thought when you read it. Its not going to make much difference. Do what makes you happy! But where it came from, well, sometimes as a mom you have a lot to do. There are things that come up that can't be put off or those that have been put off and now need to get taken care of. Ready or not, you better Mom Up! Get off your mom bottom, whether your hair is looking crazy or not and get them done. You're on a time limit!

Now before you get to crazy about this, I completely believe us moms should get to have our time to get our hair nice and pretty.  But the point is, sometimes as a mom you don't look perfect when you go out. Really this is just sometimes as a person. Its ok. So you think of your kids, or whichever member of the family forgot their lunch, book report, or dentist appointment (and yeah that includes you!). Then, you Mom Up and do it!

Ok so its not just about getting things done that may have been forgotten. How about those times that your sad. Those times that the memories hit hard and you want to snuggle up in bed and cry. Listen, its ok to do that now and then. Its good for you. But, when its almost 3:15 and you know you have to get the kids from school, well you've got to cry it out, wipe your tears, Mom Up and go get those babies! Sometimes, when you want to slack off a little its alright. Just remember you are being watched, and when you're ready Mom Up. You've got this!

Welcome to my page!

Welcome to my Mom Blog! Lol, yeah I have a mom blog. Hmm. I have thought about this for so long, and now its happening. Of course now that I am trying to create it, the ideas I have had leading me up to wanting to start a blog have fleeted. But, its ok. We'll go day by day, and when they come to mind I can put them on here!
